How to change my address with my bank?
Are you getting ready to tackle moving tasks? Usually when we think about the companies we need to notify of our change of address, our financial institutions are at the top of the list. Unfortunately, these institutions generally have various sectors or departments that need to be informed of our new address, and the solutions offered are sometimes not as intuitive as we would like them to be. For example, you could have to separately notify the different departments within the same financial institution (banking, insurance, investment, etc.)
Why is it not a one-stop-shop? The reason is simple: The banks’ structure is quite rigid, the databases of the different departments do not automatically communicate with each other and the level of security is at its maximum (which is a positive point!). Therefore, you must change your contact information for each department within your financial institution, one by one. Where to start?
